The 5th Ideas Fair is an event hosted by Conectas in partnership with Sesc to mark International Human Rights Day. Registration is now open for exhibitors. The 5th Ideas Fair will take place on 14 December from 2pm to 6pm, at Sesc Pompeia (Rua Clélia, 65), in São Paulo.
As in previous editions, 20 projects will be exhibited, in the most diverse formats, focusing on promoting and implementing human rights. Submissions should be made by 17 November.
The following may participate: activists, students, communicators, researchers, producers of audio-visual work, social movements and other groups or people working on initiatives linked to guaranteeing and promoting rights. Further information on the selection process, such as the registration form, are available on the call for applications.
The event will receive projects in these categories: visual and performance art, short length films (documentaries or fiction, up to 15 minutes long), photography, social and community initiatives, journalism and academic projects.
Fifteen projects will be chosen by the curatorship team, consisting of professionals from the Conectas communications team and from Sesc’s socio-educational programme. A further five initiatives will be invited by the curators and partner organisations.
The results of the selection process will be posted on 25 November, on the Conectas site.

es that will be available to participants.
Exhibitions can be in pairs and each member will receive R$200 for expenses such as food and transport. The activity is not competitive and there will be no prizes.
