Furthermore, confronting the global expansion of authoritarian anti-rights movements requires a collective and coordinated effort, combating anti-democratic movements that threaten diversity, rights, and fundamental freedoms on a global scale.

The strengthening of the human rights movement encompasses strategic actions to expand its reach and impact. The implementation of policies to support partners aims to reinforce their institutional and strategic capacities, promoting sustainability in the field. The International Human Rights Colloquium and the Ideas Fair create spaces for dialogue and exchange between national and international human rights organizations, broadening the debate on rights and justice. The publication of the Sur Journal consolidates these reflections, spreading critical and innovative knowledge on human rights in Brazil and around the world.

International action to defend human rights is essential to strengthen global norms and mechanisms. This includes international advocacy within the International Human Rights System and active participation in developing regional and international norms. Reporting violations in Brazil is crucial, requiring accountability in international courts and jurisdictions, and demanding that Brazil's foreign policy take a stance that defends human rights. Additionally, promoting transnational engagement, especially among countries of the Global South, fosters solidarity and collaboration, and expands the fight for justice and equality on a global scale.
