The International Human Rights Colloquium is one of the largest and most traditional human rights gatherings in the world. With a history of over 20 years and 17 editions held, the event has brought together more than 1,500 participants from 687 organizations in 93 countries. Since its first edition in 2001, the Colloquium’s main goal has been to connect activists and organizations from the Global South, providing a space for the exchange of experiences and knowledge.
