The 2nd Human Rights Fair, which will take place on Thursday, December 8, at the offices of Conectas in São Paulo, will exhibit 28 projects related to the promotion of civic awareness and human rights and have nearly 100 participants.
In total, 112 projects were registered by students, researchers and social groups and organizations from across Brazil. Registration was open from November 16 to 25.
As the fair takes place, the participants – who were also required to register in advance – will be able to circulate among all the works on display while the exhibitors present the goals, methodologies and any impacts of their projects.
The event will be held in commemoration of International Human Rights Day, with the goal of promoting and strengthening the struggle for the defense of fundamental rights through a big gathering of people who work with or who are interested in the field.
The registered projects were assessed using the following criteria: the relevance of the topic to human rights; objectivity, clarity and creativity in the presentation of the project; and the appropriateness of the project to the current context.
