On Wednesday (28), civil society organizations released the document “Dismantling and setbacks in the system to combat slave labour in Brazil”. The launch will be online, on YouTube, from 3pm to 4pm (Brasília time). Watch the event here.
The document shows cases of dismantling and setbacks in the system to combat slave labour in Brazil and is the joint work of five organizations: Conectas, ADERE/MG (Articulation of Rural Workers in Minas Gerais), Business & Human Rights Resource Centre, Oxfam Brasil and CONTAR (National Confederation of Paid Rural Workers).
The publicity event will be mediated by Julia Neiva, coordinator of the Conectas programme for the Defence of Socioenvironmental Rights, with the participation of Carlos Eduardo Silva (CONTAR), Marina Novaes (Business & Human Rights Resource Centre), Jorge Ferreira dos Santos Filho (ADERE), Tássia Camila de Oliveira Carvalho (Repórter Brasil) and Fernanda Drummond (Conectas).
