Collaborative platform compiles documents on Brazil’s worst social and environmental disaster

Conectas and Onda Política today launched the digital platform Rio Doce Vivo (Doce River Alive), a collaborative archive on Brazil’s worst ever social and environmental disaster, which was caused by the collapse of a waste dam owned by the mining company Samarco in Mariana, state of Minas Gerais, on November 5, 2015.

In this repository, you will find reports, studies, technical documents, pictures, videos, legal cases and other public data that can help people and organizations interested in (re)building a living memory and monitoring the accountability of the companies and organizations whose acts and omissions caused the tragedy.
