Lecture held by the Brazilian Federal Supreme Court (STF) and a seminar offered by the National Council of Justice (CNJ) will be attended by Conectas representatives.
On Tuesday (10), the STF is carrying out the first edition of STF Inspira. The event is a celebration of Justice Day (8) and is meant for the sharing of experiences for reflection, with short and dynamic lectures given by people who are notable in their respective areas.
The Director of Litigation and Advocacy at Conectas, Gabriel Sampaio, will represent the organization and give a talk on public security. The event will take place from 01:30 p.m. to 06:30 p.m. and shall be broadcast through the STF’s channel on Youtube and the TV Justiça channel.
On December 9 and 10, the CNJ will hold the 2nd Human Dignity Seminar – Access to Justice: Overcome Barriers and Promote Equality. The event offers dialog on topics such as: the struggle against racism, the promotion of rights for women, the LGBTQIA+ community, children and adolescents, and people experiencing homelessness.
The objectives of this event are the construction of practical paths towards promoting and securing human rights, given contemporary challenges such as the impact of climate crises, discussed from the perspective of environmental racism.
The Director of the Strengthening of the Human Rights Movement, Julia Neiva, will represent Conectas in the panel entitled “Activity initiatives in climate crisis situations – an analysis from the perspective of environmental racism”, which will take place on the 10th, from 04:15 p.m. to 06:00 p.m.
