On the <\/span>5<\/b>th<\/b> and 6<\/b>th<\/b> of December<\/b>, Conectas, together with Sesc 24 de Maio, is holding the <\/span>8<\/b>th<\/b> edition of Feira de Ideias <\/b>(Ideas Fair), an event that gathers projects and initiatives from multiple regions of Brazil dedicated to the promotion and protection of human rights. The activity celebrates the <\/span>International Human Rights Day<\/b>, on December 10<\/span>th<\/span>, and is free admission and open to the public.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the course of two days, the public will get to know <\/span>20 projects<\/b> presented in exhibition tables, audiovisual exhibits, and visual exhibits. The initiatives approach subjects such as religious diversity, inclusion in schools, the anti-asylum fight, creative economy in the outskirts, preservation of indigenous cultures, challenges for migrant trans people, women incarceration, police violence, and impacts of the climate crisis in the Amazon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Feira de Ideias<\/b> will be open to the public on <\/span>Friday (5), from 01:00 p.m. to 08:00 p.m., and on Friday (6), from 11:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m.<\/b>, at the <\/span>Sesc 24 de Maio<\/b>, located at <\/span>Rua 24 de Maio, 109 \u2013 Rep\u00fablica, S\u00e3o Paulo (SP). <\/b>All activities are free of charge.<\/span><\/p>\n

Debate panels<\/b><\/h2>\n

The schedule includes two debate panels on Saturday (6), both with sign language interpreters.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAcender a solidariedade, transcender o autoritarismo\u201d <\/b>(Light up solidarity, transcend authoritarianism)<\/span><\/p>\n

Time: <\/b>11:30 a.m. to 01:00 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

The encounter celebrates the release of the 2025 edition of the Sur Journal. Glaucia Marinho (Justi\u00e7a Global) and Julia Neiva (Conectas) participate. Bianca Santana (journalist and writer) will be the mediator.<\/span><\/p>\n
