The award is an acknowledgment of individuals and institutions that stand out for their significant contributions to the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As Antra explained on its channels, this is the first time in history that the medal has been awarded to a transvestite, marking a historic moment for the trans community and celebrating Bruna Benevides&#8217;
