Indigenous Peoples, acronym in Portuguese) made a request this Thursday (26) for the United Nations\u2019 Human Rights Council to demand the definitive rejection of the Time Frame thesis by the Brazilian State.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The request was presented during the 57<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> session of the UN Human Rights Council, held in Geneva, Switzerland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the text, the organizations highlighted that the Brazilian Federal Supreme Court (STF) rejected the Time Frame thesis in 2023, but the issue began to be discussed once again in a conciliation session.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The entities request the rejection of the Time Frame thesis by the Brazilian State, seeking the recognition and restatement of the lack of constitutional grounds of the thesis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOur concern is that negotiations regarding our fundamental rights are taking place without indigenous representatives of the APIB in attendance\u201d, the organizations state in their
