The text, which was published on Sunday (26) by the Folha de S\u00e3o Paulo newspaper, expresses expectations regarding the speech of the Minister for Human Rights, Silvio Almeida, at the 52nd session of the United Nations (UN) Human Rights Council. There is hope that Brazil will now revive advocacy at the UN and rebuild the country\u00b4s human rights agenda.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cInternational advocacy can and should be the springboard for rebuilding Brazil\u00b4s human rights agenda and this will in turn lead to stronger foreign policy, in line with Article 4 of our Constitution which provides for the prevalence of human rights in our international relations\u201d, the experts say in the article.<\/span><\/p>\n
