{"id":3602,"date":"2014-01-30T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-01-30T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/new.conectas.org.inf.br\/wp\/noticias\/conectas-cited-in-global-think-tank-index\/"},"modified":"2021-05-05T18:47:59","modified_gmt":"2021-05-05T18:47:59","slug":"conectas-cited-in-global-think-tank-index","status":"publish","type":"noticia","link":"https:\/\/conectas.org\/en\/noticias\/conectas-cited-in-global-think-tank-index\/","title":"Conectas cited in global think tank index","content":"<div class=\"tts_content_wrapper_1\" ><p>Conectas was cited in the latest edition of the annual report on the world\u2019s most influential think tanks (<a href=\"https:\/\/conectas.org\/arquivos\/editor\/files\/GoToReport2013_Final.pdf\">Global Go To Think Tank Index<\/a>), compiled by the International Relations Program of the University of Pennsylvania (Upenn).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The organization, founded 12 years ago in S\u00e3o Paulo, features in 40th position overall and in 2nd place among the institutions from the BRICS countries (Brazil, India, China, Russia and South Africa), behind only Fanrpan (Food, Agriculture and Natural Resources Policy Analysis Network), from South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>According to the methodology adopted by UPenn, Brazil ranks 13th on the list of countries with the largest number of think tanks (81), appearing behind all the BRICS countries and even Argentina (137).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor us, this is an important recognition.
