In the document, the Pact calls on the National Congress and the Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office to take a stand in defense of the legal process and the democratic regime.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They also request that the press and civil society promote free, fair and peaceful elections, with the guarantee that the results of the polls will be duly respected.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAnyone who defends the curtailment of the work of democratic institutions, such as the Superior Electoral Court and the Supreme Court, disrespects the Constitution and the Democratic State under the Rule of Law, and acts against the interests of society,\u201d said the organizations in the document.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><div
