The organizing committee of the 43rd Vladimir Herzog Journalism Award for Amnesty and Human Rights on Thursday, October 14, released the list of finalists for the 2021 edition of the award. <\/span><\/p>\n

On Saturday, October 16, the committee will meet in a public session to choose the winners. The public session, from 2 pm to 5 pm, will be broadcast live on the <\/span>YouTube channel of the Award<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

For this edition, 700 entries were received in the award\u2019s seven categories. The entries were assessed by a commission formed by 36 journalists and artists, and also five writers who serve on the board of UBE (Brazilian Union of Writers), who were responsible for evaluating the Non-Fiction Book category. <\/span><\/p>\n
