{"id":32624,"date":"2021-07-07T12:40:47","date_gmt":"2021-07-07T12:40:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/conectas.org\/?post_type=noticia&#038;p=32624"},"modified":"2021-07-12T12:44:11","modified_gmt":"2021-07-12T12:44:11","slug":"publication-analyzes-climate-disputes-in-brazil","status":"publish","type":"noticia","link":"https:\/\/conectas.org\/en\/noticias\/publication-analyzes-climate-disputes-in-brazil\/","title":"Publication analyzes climate disputes in Brazil","content":"<div class=\"tts_content_wrapper_1\" ><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conectas, on Wednesday (7<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> July) launched the first&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/conectas.org\/publicacao\/caderno-de-justica-climatica-no-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Climate Justice Notebook \u2013 Retrospective of Climate Litigation in Brazil<\/a>, which is about the analyses of the main climate disputes in the country in 2020 and the impact of&nbsp; these cases on the judiciary in 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The publication addresses, among several&nbsp; topics, actions on the Amazon Fund, measures to curb deforestation and requests for climate emergencies in certain cities in Brazil, cases that are distributed in different courts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is the first of three notebooks to be published this semester on climate justice. It mainly focused on the intersection of climate litigation, environmental justice and human rights.&nbsp; The publications are being prepared with the support of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.climaesociedade.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instituto Clima e Sociedade (iCS)<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"tts__custom-position_bottom_fixed\"
