Moreover, it stresses the importance of society\u2019s participation in social and environmental decisions.<\/p>\n<p>The organizations oppose the so-called \u201cpackage of destruction\u201d proposed by the president that suggests legislative changes in the following areas: mining and indigenous lands (Bill 191\/2020), environmental licensing (Bill 3,729\/2004) and land-title regularization (Bill 2,633\/2020).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf these proposals are approved, they will drive a series of negative impacts, worsening social and environmental conditions in the country and its image around the
