On Friday 18th<\/sup>, Conectas, in conjunction with Laudes foundation and Mission Peace will hold an event.<\/p>\n

\u201cMigrant Day: Advocacy and perspectives on the Migration Law\u201d to discuss progress and challenges faced in the last three years of creating the Law.<\/p>\n

Venezuelan Journalist Paula Ramon, an AFP correspondent will present and anchor the event.\u00a0 The virtual meeting will have in attendance Migrants, Activists and Scholars<\/p>\n

It will be broadcasted on YouTube from 10.30am and no registration is required.<\/p>\n

The conference will also feature the launching of the book \u201cForeigner never again! Migrant as a subject of law and the importance of advocacy by the new Brazilian law\u201d, written by Cyntia Sampaio and Ebenezer de Oliveira.<\/p>\n
