At an event to be held by Conectas Human Rights and the Law School at USP (University of Sao Paulo) the socioenvironmental responsibility of development banks and private banks in funding large infrastructure building works, will be discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n

There will be specialists in Law, Economics and Business who will talk about the challenges of legal, institutional and operational cooperation in funding sustainable development.<\/span><\/p>\n

The following people will be participating in the event: Camila Villard Duran, Professor of Philosophy and General Theory of Law (FD-USP), Rog\u00e9rio Studart,\u00a0 Former Director for Brazil at the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank, Sergio Suchodolski, President of the Banco de Desenvolvimento de Minas Gerais, Julia Cortez da Cunha Cruz, Consultant on the Development and Socioenvironmental Rights Programme at Conectas Human Rights, Caio de Souza Borges, Doctoral Student at the USP Law School and Claudia Politanski, Vice-President at Ita\u00fa Unibanco and leader in the areas of People, Law, Ombudsmanship, Government and Institutional Relations, Corporate Communication and Marketing.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event is free and open to the public via\u00a0<\/span>prior registration<\/b><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0There are limited places.<\/span><\/p>\n
