On\u00a0<\/span>24 April<\/b>, at\u00a0<\/span>Sesc 24 de Maio<\/b>, the project\u00a0<\/span>Cine Direitos Humanos<\/b>\u00a0is showing the documentary<\/span> A na\u00e7\u00e3o que n\u00e3o esperou por Deus<\/i><\/b>, about the indigenous people, the Kadiw\u00e9u who live in Mato Grosso do Sul. The film will be followed by a discussion session on the issues raised in the documentary and the subject of human rights. The Director,\u00a0<\/span>Lucia Murat<\/b>\u00a0first visited the community in 1999 to shoot a different film,\u00a0<\/span>Brava gente Brasileira<\/span><\/i>, which motivated her to make this one, released in 2015. In almost 15 years between the two films, electric lighting, television and evangelical churches, as well as a struggle with cattle breeders for the Kadiw\u00e9u land have reached this location. The documentary was made with the intention of analysing the different paths taken by this people in the face of these occurrences.<\/span><\/p>\n
