Megg Rayara Gomes de Oliveira, Aline Maia Nascimento, and Rosane Viana Jovelino are the authors who have been chosen for writing grants for the 28th edition of Sur \u2013 International Human Rights Magazine. A total of 850 proposals were received from around the country and selection was based on the criteria published in the call for papers on the magazine site.<\/p>\n

With the theme \u201cRace and Human Rights: moving structures\u201d, Sur 28 is offering these grants with the aim of encouraging and supporting black activists and\/or researchers to write about their experiences and\/or research on racism and human rights in the Brazilian context.<\/p>\n

See below the title of each of the selected proposals:<\/strong><\/p>\n

>> \u201cHuman rights and the grassroots level: Local development and protection of cultural identity. The case of the quilombola <\/em>communities in the Iguape Basin and Valley\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
