{"id":12736,"date":"2018-06-20T20:05:51","date_gmt":"2018-06-20T20:05:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/conectas.org\/?post_type=noticia&#038;p=12736"},"modified":"2021-04-06T15:28:20","modified_gmt":"2021-04-06T15:28:20","slug":"business-human-rights-brazil","status":"publish","type":"noticia","link":"https:\/\/conectas.org\/en\/noticias\/business-human-rights-brazil\/","title":"Event: discussion on business and human rights in Brazil","content":"<div class=\"tts_content_wrapper_1\" ><p>Brazil\u2019s implementation of the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights recommendations is the theme of a parallel event to be held on the margins of the 38th session of the Human Rights Council, in Geneva, Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>The event is to discuss how government and businesses are implementing recommendations made following the official visit to Brazil in 2015. Conectas will be presenting a report at the event, on its assessment of national initiatives being developed in four areas: legislation, public policy, case studies and corporate policies and practices.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a
