Booklets on climate justice

This publication aims to offer a brief analysis of the main ongoing climate disputes in Brazil that may inspire civil society organizations to litigate in this growing and necessary field. It is the first of three sections that Conectas Human Rights is organizing in partnership with the Climate and Society Institute (iCS). The next ones will be published, always keeping a close eye on the intersection of climate litigation, socio-environmental justice and human rights. In this first edition, we present an analysis of the main cases of 2020 in the country, we offer a brief analysis of international litigation, and how Brazilian cases are impacting our judiciary in 2021.
