In commemoration of International Human Rights Day, Conectas has opened registrations for the 2nd Ideas Fair. Students, researchers, groups and social movements will have the opportunity to display their research and journalistic and artistic projects that promote civic awareness and human rights and denounce violations in Brazil and the world.
The Fair will take place on December 8, at 6:30 pm, in the offices of Conectas in São Paulo. The goal of the event is to promote and strengthen the struggle for the defense of fundamental rights through a big gathering of people who work with or who are interested in the field.
Registration is open until November 25 and a total of 20 projects will be selected for the Fair. The result will be released by December 2 at the latest.
To participate, fill in the form and explain why your project is important for building a better world. Registered projects will be assessed according to the following criteria:
“In a time of profound threats to human rights in Brazil and the world, it is important to connect people and promote innovative projects that advance human rights,” said Jessica Morris, executive director of Conectas. “And the essence of Conectas has always been to serve as a bridge between people who fight for this cause,” she concluded.
Come and commemorate International Human Rights Day with Conectas and see what students, teachers, groups and organizations have been doing to build a better and fairer world.
