Conectas has been awarded the A+ Doar Seal, the highest certification rating granted by the Instituto Doar. This recognition attests to the excellence of the organization’s management, transparency, and accountability practices, consolidating its position as a reference in the sector.
The A+ Doar Seal is the result of a rigorous evaluation that covered various areas of the organization’s work, such as financial management, communication, and relationships with donors and partners. This achievement showcases the organization’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and transparency in all its actions.
“This recognition brings great satisfaction to our entire team,” says Camila Asano, executive director of Conectas. “The A+ Doar Seal is yet another validation of our work and strengthens the trust of our partners and donors, who can rest assured that their resources are being used responsibly and efficiently to promote human rights in Brazil.”
The Doar Seal is a national certification that recognizes civil society organizations that demonstrate the highest standards of transparency and governance. The certification is granted by the Instituto Doar and aims to encourage and highlight professionalism and transparency in third-sector organizations.
To obtain the seal, an organization must achieve a minimum score across a series of criteria established by the Institute. This process involves both a detailed questionnaire and a document review by the Social Certifier team. Organizations that achieve the required score are classified into two categories: Doar Seal A (34 to 41 points) and Doar Seal A+ (38 to 41 points).
