Conectas publishes the organizations selected through the call for projects, Litigants of the Future; see below

The organizations will receive training sessions and resources to develop strategic litigation projects in human rights

On Monday (19) Conectas published the names of four judicial think tanks and similar institutions selected through the call for projects Litigants of the Future. The projects chosen are from organizations in the Centre-West and North-East. 

Next, members of the selected institutions will participate in online training sessions on strategic litigation in human rights and will design an applied project. At the end of the project, representatives from each organization will take part in a face-to-face meeting with the Conectas team.

In order to ensure that the proposals that are submitted are deployed and to foster strategic litigation in human rights, Conectas will donate up to R$25,000 (twenty five thousand reais) to each of the institutions selected. Those organising the call for projects would like to thank the participation of all those who applied and they also stress the high standard of the proposals they received.

UFG – Clínica de Direitos Humanos e Políticas Públicas (Original in Portuguese, Human Rights and Public Policy Think Tank); 

UFPE – aSIDH: Programa de Extensão Acesso ao Sistema Interamericano de Direitos Humanos (Original in Portuguese. Further Education Programme on Access to the Inter-American System of Human Rights);

UFGD – Núcleo de Prática e Assistência Jurídica (Original in Portuguese. Centre for Legal Practice and Aid); 

UNICAP –: Clínica Jurídica de Litigância Estratégica e Interesse Público (Original in Portuguese. Judicial Think Tank on Strategic Litigation and Public Interest).
