Chamber members debate Brazil’s proposals for the Climate Conference

Event, scheduled for Friday (8th), brings together experts, defenders of social and environmental rights and Federal Government Representatives

The Committee on the Environment and Sustainable Development of the Chamber of Deputies holds a public hearing on Friday (8th of October), at 9 am, to debate with civil society organizations and the federal government on the projects that Brazil will take to the COP-26 (Conference of Climate), which will take place in November, in Glasgow, Scotland. The participants are: Gabriel Mantelli; advisor to Conectas on Social and Environmental Rights Defense program, Cássia Marques da Costa; Institutional Development manager for the Sustainability Policy Action Network, Ane Alencar; director of Science at the Amazon Environmental Research Institute, Luis Fernando Guedes Pinto; Director of Knowledge at SOS Mata Atlântica, Paulino Franco de Carvalho Neto; Secretary for National Sovereignty and Citizenship Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Rodrigo Sauaia; Executive President of the Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy.
