An article signed by Sueli Carneiro, Gabriel Sampaio and Theo Dias discuss questions the validity of evidence arising from police stop and search without motive or criteria and sometimes based only on skin color, the so-called racial profiling.

“This judgment must remember that confronting structural racism involves diversity in the composition of the justice system. The aforementioned trial session whereby both male and female black lawyers kicked vehemently against racism in police practices from the tribunal was symptomatic in a court made up of nine white male ministers and two white female ministers”, state the authors.
